The softly blended houndstooth combines taupe, oatmeal, camel, chocolate and charcoal into a muted neutral pattern that sits comfortably across several neighbouring palettes. Soft Autumn is the most natural fit, thanks to its warm, gentle colouring, while Warm Autumn picks up the rich camel and earthy brown tones. Deep Autumn also wears this pattern well, as the darker chocolate and charcoal add enough depth to complement its stronger contrast. Although slightly warmer overall than a typical Soft Summer palette, the colours remain muted rather than rich or vivid, allowing Soft Summer to borrow it as one of the many smoky taupes and mushroom browns shared between these two neighbouring seasons.
