From beginning to end, this type of viscose is the most sustainable choice; procuring woodpulp from certified forests which do not contribute to deforestation, with processing that uses 50% lower emissions and water impact than generic viscose. Certified as compostable and biodegradable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions. When worn, this fabric drapes beautifully, is smooth to the touch and has non-static properties. Recycling post-consumer waste into recycled polyester fabric uses less energy, less petroleum and also diverts plastics from going to landfill. It also has a lower carbon footprint than virgin polyester due to being made from post-consumer waste.
